Time: Three sessions at: 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, & 4:00 pm (max. 20 people per session)
Cost: $35.00 per person ~ by reservation only

Spice Up Your Life Review ~
     Wow, what a wonderful day! We had fabulous food as always from Caldwell's Grant Restaurant in Amherstburg. The food menu was out of this world, and created by Laura Clarke-Giberson just for our event. Our winemaker Tim Reilly chose the wine pairings to suit the menu. Marty Friedburg came on board with us that day and charmed us all with his anectdotes and poetry, in addition to his wine knowledge.
     I would be hard pressed to say which pairing was the favorite that day. I think it was a tie between the lamb chop with the CEV Cab Franc or the Grilled Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus with Rosemary and the CEV Merlot Reserve. In a tight third, came the black pepper infused strawberry panacotta paired with our incredible CEV Cabernet Franc Icewine '02. 
     Each group left with a feeling of regret that it was all over, but armed with the knowledge that we will be hosting these kind of events throughout the year. Next time Laura will be offering us fine fair direct from Caldwell's Grant restaurant menu. Watch the web for your chance to experience a spectacular wine and food pairing. Note: There was a change to the pairing menu. CEV Gewurztraminer was paired with the roasted fiddlehead soup instead of CEV Pinot Grigio.
